July 21, 2008: See what one of our customers has to say about our doodle dogs on Merchant Circle:
Our Goldendoodles:
We purchased 2 Black Goldendoodles, Molly & Murphy, that were born 12/01/2003, out of Haley's Comet by Cocoa Moe. They have been such a GREAT joy to all our family. I can't imagine life without them. With 2 doodles there is never a dull moment. They love to swim; make great car riders and love to just be "Lap dogs" (they are both about 100 lbs.). Our grand-daughter Melissa was 5 years and my mother was 95 years when we got them. Both dogs were great to the young and elder. Dee was great to work with. She helped us with all our questions about grooming and crate training. She is a joy to deal with. You can see Molly and Murphy on her Lake Ridge web pages.
Teresa

Thank you, Teresa, for your kind words and thank you for writing a review on Merchant Circle. We would love to see new photos of both Molly and Murphy. Molly as I recall was black when she left us but turned into a beautiful silver phantom. She is only 1 of 2 silver phantoms ever born to us since 1999. Molly and Murphy was solid black when they left us.

July 2008: Julie and her brother came to our home to pick up their lovely Goldendoodle boy from Isla's litter. Thank you, Julie, for joining our Goldendoodle World. It was very nice to meet you and I know Titus has a wonderful, loving new family! Make sure to send us photos as he grows! Titus is absolutely gorgeous!
Dee
Titus is a Goldendoodle/Golden Retriever mixture and is absolutely stunning and sweet! Of course, all of Isla's doodle pups in her litter are just as beautiful and we just could not be happier with this mixture! They have a Golden Retriever temperament and a gorgeous appearance!
Julie and her brother take Titus home with them to Raleigh, North Carolina. Thank you for joining our Goldendoodle World!
July 2008: Thank you Anne, Beau and Tony for coming today and picking your little doodle boy from Isla's litter! I am confident that Beau will have a fantastic playmate and new best friend! We look forward in watching your new doodle grow as time passes and please make sure to send us photos!
Thank you for joining our doodle world!
Dee
This little doodle boy is out of Isla's litter and is a Goldendoodle/Golden Retriever mixture which is absolutely fantastic in appearance and temperament!

Hi Dee!
We are all doing great! Cruz is sooo sweet, we love him to pieces. He found the mirror and he just sits and looks at himself then bats at the mirror....so cute! When we got home last night, I gave him some food and played with him outside for awhile! He is doing awesome so far with potty training! He is eating grass though when we go outside......does he do that if his tummy is upset??? Is there anything I should do? He goes tomorrow to see the vet and get microchipped etc....
Thank you so much for our wonderful puppy!
We will defiantly keep in touch and I'll send pics later!
Jen and family
Dear Jen, he had a very long ride from NC to California...and I'm sure he was a bit motion sick...whether that is why he was eating grass, I have no idea. We usually see our dogs and cats eating grass for reasons unknown...but I'm glad to hear he's fitting right in and doing great! He's a beautiful doodle boy!
Dee

July 2008: Dear Jenna and Jim,
Thank you for adopting one of our adult doodle girls! She was just spayed and is doing great. She'll be joining you soon in New York! She's just had a bath so we'll get some new photos of her soon.
Thanks so much,
Dee

Hi Dee!
Here are a few pics of Cruz! He is so amazing, we love him sooo much! He loves to chase leaves and pick flowers. My family was in town and left yesterday, so we were pretty busy, or I would have sent you pics earlier! Thanks again for such a wonderful doodle pup and we will be in touch!
Jen, Chris and Keegan
Dear Jen, Is this the cutest photo or what??
Cruz is absolutely gorgeous...as was his entire litter of siblings! He looks like a carbon copy of his brother except his brother was more apricot in color! Keep sending us photos so we can create his own personal page.

Chewie update

Hi Dee,
Chewie has been so much fun! He gets along great with our other doodle, Charro. Attached is the neuter info, and below are some recent photos. He is about 50lbs and a great dog. He loves hiking the trails with us, and is a great swimmer. So far we have just been trimming him around his eyes, nose and ears. Unlike our other doodle, his fur does not seem to matt as easily, so keeping his fur longer has been easier.
Good to hear from you, Scott
Thank you, Scott for these lovely photos of Chewie! He definitely reminded me of "Chewbacca" of Star Wars when he was a puppy. We have some chocolates who look just like Chewie, available! Just click here to view. Thanks for the update!
Dee

On Aug. 2, 2008, Isla's last little doodle, Mabel, left with the Tracy family. We look forward in watching this adorable cutie grow! Thank you Reid, Jenna and kids for joining our Goldendoodle World! We've had three families adopt from us this week with the name Jen or Jenna, which was unusual but fun! We hope you have tons of fun with your little doodle girl!

HI DEE!!!
After a few trips to the beach (which take a long time to undo with a brush!) we decided to give Murphy a haircut. We were worried that he would lose his "Golden Doodle" look so we downloaded a picture of what we wanted him to look like and the groomer did a great job! I think he looks all grown up... just like a gentleman. He is still learning more tricks! Even my dad taught him how to jump over his arm! Murphy is a quick learner and the whole family is amazed at how smart he is!
Jack
Dear Jack...I think Murphy looks adorable with his new summer doo! I told you our doodles were very smart! *grin*!!

Re: Nala

Dee,
Will bring you up to date. We took Nala to our vet this afternoon. The doodle we purchased from the "Cockrells" is Nala (though we call her Sophie now!). The microchip is there and matches what was on the paper work. We are thrilled to know her background and breeding. The vet said he has never seen one lighten quite so much either. It doesn't bother me (that her color has changed), she's a very nice dog. I'm very glad we weren't dealing with a stolen dog that someone is looking for and missing.
I spoke with the people who were on the original paperwork that came from you (Goldendoodle World) today and they (the original owners) did rehome her to the people we bought her from a few months ago. They said she was just too active for their 14 month old and newborn children. They were glad to know she now has a forever home with people who care about her.
I have gotten her shots and can now have her properly groomed. I will send you a picture once she is groomed if you would like.
Thanks,
Jan Landis

Dear Jan, had you not told me that Nala's micro-chip matched what was on the original paper work sent to her original owners and the doodle, I never would have believed the doodle in the photo up above was the same doodle (in the photo up above this one) was the actual chocolate phantom doodle we sold to the "Cockrell" family in 2004 simply because Nala is the one and only female doodle we've ever had born to us that was a chocolate phantom and in my 12 years of breeding experience, I've NEVER witnessed a dog of any kind changing colors this dramatically including losing very distinct original markings. I've never seen it happen. "Sophie" losing her distinct phantom markings and entire chocolate coloring entirely is a very rare occurrence, just as your vet stated to you. I am furious that the original owners NEVER contacted us which is what they were suppose to do as per their contract with us, prior to them first selling her and I'm even more furious that she had to go through the trauma of yet another home that didn't work out....but I thank you for taking her in and making her a part of your family and then contacting me to let me know. At least I now know she is safe and has a permanent, forever home and I would definitely appreciate it if you keep in contact and send photos of her off and on. Nala...Sophie...came out of Hershey and Cocoa's litter of 12 awhile back. We had various colors of doodles in that litter including parti-colors, 2 chocolate phantoms, apricots and creams.

Dee,
I wanted to share photos of Tucker from his birthday a few weeks ago. Can't believe we've had him for 2 years already. My daughter made him a "treat cake" (treats and peanut butter) and we took him to a dog park with a lake. He loved it!! I think he definitely enjoyed his special day!
I've also included a photo of him from this winter. He likes to sled! Doesn't he look cute in his coat? He loved the snow too!
By the way he weighs 62 lbs now.
Leslie Davis
Dear Leslie, Thank you so much for sending me such beautiful photos of Tucker! HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY, TUCKER!
Sept. 2008: Dear Paden...We got your letter today and your lovely photos! Yes, you sure have grown since we saw you last! What a gorgeous boy you are! Tell your mom that killing birds is part of being a Goldendoodle...I'm sure after a few licks, your mommy will forgive you. *grin*
Happy SPECIAL birthday to you, Paden! Your brother has his birthday on the same day as you and he is here with us...so we will give him a hug for you. I'm very glad to hear you are having fun at obedience school....watch out for those Akita's though...they have a strong bite. Keep in touch!
We miss you! Tell your mom to send me more photos and I'll try and get a personal page made up for you and your family so all of your friends can visit.
Love,
Miss Dee

Hi Dee!
Here are some updated photos of Meeryn! She really is a good dog! I can't believe she's lived with us for a year now, it's been very blessed!
Her friend is Bailee. Her mom used to live here and we went to the dog park together daily. They now live in VA Beach, which is where the beach pictures were taken.
We finally broke down and bought a Bissel Pet Vac. She does shed, but it's less than Dusty (the family golden). She doesn't bother my roommate's allergies at all, which was the real hope.
I see her brother is still available. I hope he's able to find a home soon. It sounds like he's just as playful as Meeryn. What a great litter!
Thanks for everything,
Robin

Hi Robyn! What gorgeous photos of Meeryn and she looks like she's having a blast! I put all the recent photos on her page, so you can view them at her link "Meet Meeryn".
Thank you so much for keeping in touch. I just adore Meeryn!
Yes, unfortunately we do still have some adult doodles still available because everyone wants puppies and won't consider an adult, which is a darn shame! Doodles are fantastic dogs regardless of their age and her brother is gorgeous!

Hello Dee,
Here are some new photos of Katie Keffer. She is what you see, a most loving and happy and healthy Doodle! I have added one of the two doodles who like to perch on the porch table to watch us inside the house when they are out there. Very pretty girls
in this one, just back from the groomer.
Regards from,
Joe and Marie Keffer
PS: Dixie is also great.
Hi Mr. and Mrs. Keffer! What can I say???? Katie is just too beautiful for words! A couple of the doodles we still have available and who are the same age as Katie (Darby is Kate's father too.) and they have the same features. Dixie is just as beautiful. Thank you so much for staying in touch and sending such fantastic photos of the doodles you got from us!

4 great iPhotos

Hi Dee!
Here are some pictures of Casey. He was from Bella Donna's litter. He was 1 year old on September 22nd I believe. We just took him camping and he did great. He has trained very well and is the greatest family dog. He is VERY smart and sometimes stubborn if he doesn't want to do what we ask but knows he has too!! He has the sweetest disposition and loves everybody. He did stay on the smaller side about 40 lbs or so although we haven't weighed him in awhile. He sleeps and lays spread out with all his legs out flat around him like a polar bear rug. Everywhere we go people want to know what kind of dog he is and where we got him. Hope you are doing well. Do you have pictures of his siblings?
Melissa Walker

Hi Melissa!
Long time, no hear! Thank you so much for these photos......He's so adorable. I sent you photos of Gracie who is Casey's only sister and of course, his brother Paden can be viewed by clicking on his link, "Meet Paden"....and his blue eyed, smooth coat doodle has a photo on our "available doodles' page. So funny that Casey was the only brown eyed, shaggy coat in his litter and his other siblings were smooth coat with blue and green eyes. Casey is just beautiful though and we hope your family has a great Halloween! Also, I hope Casey had a great Happy Birthday!
